Abstract
The challenge of designing innovative buildings is to plan an engineering work with the future and efficiency in mind. With this in mind, the study proposed to conduct an analysis of the impact caused in the building, both in terms of costs, infrastructure and demand of the electrical and gas fuel systems due to the replacement of the LPG infrastructure for induction stoves in the apartments, since over the years there was an increase in the cost of inputs and the equipment proved to be more technological and have greater energy efficiency. In the main results, the demand of the building with the addition of the induction stove showed an increase of 160%, besides the need for several changes in the electrical infrastructure to adapt the system. From the comparative analyses, it could be observed that the induction stove presents a cost per hour of use 39% lower than the gas consumption of gas stoves, thus increasing its technical, economic and safety advantages.
