Abstract

This paper proposes a web-based application to estimate the amount of radiation emitted by base stations. With this tool, the general public can easily check an upper limit for the total exposure ratio in any location with just a click on a map. The software can also be used by public authorities to find locations where measurements are necessary.

Formado em engenharia elétrica pela UFMG, é mestre e doutor pela Universidade de Brasília. Trabalhou na Gerência de Espectro, Órbita e Radiodifusão da Anatel e atualmente é Auditor Federal de Controle Externo do TCU. Seus interesses incluem compartilhamento de frequência entre sistemas de comunicações, exposição a campos eletromagnéticos, simulações etc.
